E2 sensitive
The most important estrogen — measured by a sensitive assay accurate for both men and women.
What is it
Estradiol is the primary estrogen in reproductive-age women and is also important in men. The 'sensitive' assay uses mass spectrometry to accurately measure the lower values typically seen in men and postmenopausal women.
Why it's measured
Estradiol has been associated with bone health, cardiovascular health, cognition, and mood in published research across both sexes.

Men: 10 – 40 / Women (cycle-dependent): 30 – 400 pg/mL

Elevated
