What is it
Lymphocytes include T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells. They are the primary responders to viral infection and orchestrate adaptive immunity.
Why it's measured
Lymphocyte count has been used in evaluating viral infection, immune function, and certain blood disorders in research literature.
