17-OHP

What is it
17α-Hydroxyprogesterone is an intermediate in the synthesis of cortisol and androgens. It is used clinically to screen for congenital adrenal hyperplasia.

Elevated 17-OHP has been associated with adrenal enzyme deficiencies in published research.
